Brand and collateral for integrated education
The transformation from Glengormley High to Integrated College Glengormley marked more than a change of name, it signalled a new era. Achieving integrated status is a profound milestone for both the school and the wider community, establishing it as a place that welcomes people from all religious and cultural traditions.
This new chapter required a brand that reflects shared values and celebrates difference. In a context where colour, symbolism, and heritage carry deep meaning, every design choice demanded care, sensitivity, and intent. We grounded our approach in the core principles of Inclusive Design, ensuring the identity was accessible, respectful, and truly representative of everyone it serves.
Central to the project was the creation of a new school crest, one that looks to the future rather than the past, while unmistakably signalling integration. This identity was then rolled out across a diverse range of touchpoints, from uniforms and gym kits to prospectus materials, pop-up displays, wayfinding signage, and video content, bringing consistency and clarity to how the school presents itself both on campus and beyond.
Our guiding principle was clear: a design for everyone. It brings people together rather than divides them, fosters a shared sense of belonging, and reflects the school’s commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and integrated education.
